I'm surprised I haven't found this topic posted already, but since the the iPhone 4 with video conferencing using both front and back facing cameras, I've been wondering if this can be built into the n900. I can only guess there is a brainstorm or something for this idea already. Would anyone be interested in this functionality?

We didn't make a big deal of it that we have Copy and Paste functionality either.

i thought the op was specifically addressing the ability of using both cameras for video chats (and switching between them during a call), so you can show your face, then show the object your looking at while keeping the display turned towards you.

Ah, very good point. Yes, that would be very very neat.

Since the front facing webcam is lower resolution, would there be any associated slowdown from trying to use the higher quality camera? I'm not sure if it'll need to reduce resolution.

Yes, that was my point, thanks! It's basically the only phone that gives us such an integrated functionality, but adding a bit more seems like not a big deal. I've even been able to video chat, respond to IMs, and even surf the web (although it did stutter quite a bit, but I'm not overclocked or anything).
