My explanation as follows:

There are two antennas: each one is sending some kind of a voltage, and when we touch the two side, the human body links the two antennas thus creating a short-circuit.
To me I think of the solutions is to rap a film around the frame, or to coat the frame with a none conducted layer or paint.

Steve has spoken ""Just avoid holding it in that way." ....simples

If *only* the 56 million problems with the N900 could be solved as easily

I have ordered my new 16Gb iphone 4 from tesco sim free for a bargain price of £479 (http://direct.tesco.com/p/inc/specia...ne/tariffs.asp).

This just shows that Apple may not have the resource to pull off 2 major releases (+iPad) as smoothly as they have in the past. But I think metronomic release schedule is a good thing in general.

People loves predictable pattern. The market loves predictability.

Btw, seeing the iPad adoption around me... I've never seen (normal, non-geek) people reacting so positively toward a computer\mobile-related gadget as iPads in the past. It does so many things right, it ain't funny.

haha Jobbs, i guess he finished revolutionizing the phones so now he start doing it to his people(yes, like a religion ).
On-topic, if only some but not all of the phones there MUST be a ****-up with the insulations. there is no way that it was intended to be like this but it magically disappeared for some, just doesnt make sense.

this "oh, you are holding it wrong" approach is making me sick, and i like apple products.

maybe they should add it as a feature next to the revolutionary 5MP camera and video calls

Actually this is not a problem for lefties. Most right handed people hold their phone in their LEFT Hand, especially if they are doing the multitouch tango with the other hand, or walking down the street holding their bag.

All Apple need to do is to rotate the design so the bridge is at the top of the phone....

What does Nokia do to questions ? Pretend to be deaf and dumb and don't answer you at all.
