Hi,
after installing fMMS on my N900 tries always to connect to the APN "MMS" but it should connect with the APN "o2 internet" or WLAN when I want to surf in the internet or check for updates.

Has anyone an idea to fix it?

happens to me since yesterday. wifi is fine, but for 3g it always chooses the wrong access point. strange, because i have fmms installed for quite a while now.

go to the Settings of the device > Internet connections > and change the automatic selection

i read that it always connects to the last setup apn, and the solution was to set up your gprs apn again after setting up the fmms apn, but that stopped working a few days ago, so i removed the whole fmms app and its apn as i never used fmms anyway!

I do not want to choose an Internet connection before I go online. It should automatically connect to the Internet through WLAN or the O2 Internet APN.
That must to be possible! I do not think that there is no possibility to set it up.
If not I´m going to uninstall fMMS, because this issue is very annoying.

On FMMS what setting are you using to get mms messages Polite,Rude or Panic?

thanks, that was easier than i thought. i remembered when i read your question that i had switched from "havoc" to "rude" a few days before the problems started. (i had troubles downloading a message then.)

switching back to "havoc" solved the access point problem for me... at least i had 2 connections since to the correct AP.

is this a known issue with "rude" that i missed in the main fmms-thread?

Hey Benny, do you have Auto-Disconnect installed as well? I'm using polite and have noticed that it will switch to MMS apn, but i also have Auto disconnect running as well, and have noticed when it switches from 3G to 2G it will go to the MMS apn and will be switched from Dual to GSM.

Never quite understood the polite, rude or havoc mode clearly; do you have a better grasp of it?
