Do you guys think that being online on gtalk on n900 is too heavy? My processor gets too hot and battery goes too fast.
I do have a lot of contacts BTW (200+).
Is it normal or you think it could be better implemented?

i have the same problem with facebook chat..so ive shifted to using pidgin..that works better and native support for gtalk..so it will do your job

uhm, so this is really an issue or a not so well implemented functionality...

If you go with 3G, I think you cannot expect anything different. However, with 2G gtalk runs ok (not tested with so many contacts!)
