No idea if this is even worth the $150 or not - but hey, it at least runs Android... Link

More info about the product here

For anyone interested it may be that the price ($149.99) is only for this coming weekend: Link to Kmart ad

The weekly ad shown here

Then, from the same company is this $99 tablet running Linux: Link
I wonder how good the web browsing on it is and/or how well it could be hacked

For the $150 offer, note that you're only saving $20 over the regular price. So there's really no big rush...

It looks like the ePad which runs VIA CPU...
I've heard it's kind of frustrating to use due to the slowness/lags. But for that price, it sounds like a good deal even if you only use it for a connected photo display.. or vnc/rdp station.. or etc

I wonder if it could run Android 2.2, the specs seems as if it at least should be able to.

With K-Mart having a pretty decent 90 day return policy I'm tempted to try and pick one up this weekend. If I do I'll make a video of it and post it if anyone is interested.

Sure, if you feel like it, I'm interested to see a new, cheap tablet in action. I'd be even more interested in finding out its weight and dimensions.

(BTW, that's a nice, useful signature you sport.)

That device is SO within my "impulse buy" price range. I am really thinking of picking one up just to get to know Android.

Is that resistive touch or capacitative touch?
Does it support multi touch?

Seems good for an in-house entertainment to play media/crApps/photo viewer.
