I cant figure out how to use this... i downloaded some roms (legally) and vgba doesnt identify them, i also tried opening the roms from the file manager. Any help?

Edit: this can be closed, i got them tow ork

go to file manager, click the rom and scroll down to vgba, it should open up, works on all the roms i tried.

make sure the extension is lower case (.gba). If that doesn't work, open the rom in file manager and choose vgba from the "open with" list.

how can i check the extension?

One way is to click the file in the filemanager and when it asks you to open the file with a program it shows the filename with the extension in the upper left corner.

To change the extension though you will need to either connect via USB or use Xterm.

can u explain a little indepth on how to change it using usb? sorry, im not really techy

if you plug in the n900 in mass storage mode it should be as simple as renaming the file

do i need to run them through winrar first? because i changed it (.gba) from my computer, but in the phone it says .rar' after (.gba)
