I have the following problem:
From my N900 I have an OpenVPN connection to my home network where my Dreambox 800HD is located.
I can ping the dreambox from the console without any problems. I can also browse the web interface from the dreambox via the N900 web browser.
However it seems that the DreamRemote Application can not talk with my dreambox. All commands I sent failed: statistics 22 Button pressed - 22 failed.
The application is correctly configured with the IP Address of the dreambox. I think the problem is that the application directly talks with the wlan interface but does not use the tap0 interface? Any help?

but i think a "PORTRAIT-MODE" would be very cool, looks more like an real remote
could you make that?
edit:
so i made a screenshot of the landscape mode and edited it to a portrait mode hehe
maybe i could look like that:
(this is only a photo-edit from the landscape mode)
what you think about ?

Perhaps you can start DreamRemote in the terminal and look for any kind of errors.

DreamRemote
I use the following Image on my dreambox: Newnigma2-Release-2010-06-30. Should it work with that one?
