It is now clear to the world that Nokia may have made its biggest blunder with the N900 but what is more confusing is Meego !.

Ok Meego as we know is the way Nokia will go now and not many people have faith because of the hash of Maemo which has turned out so so but ends with no further support very soon, probably IF we get, after PR1.3 update.

There is no doubt now that Nokia has lost many customers and potential buyers because of Maemo and i think Meego would in retrospect have to be their saviour or they will surely sink even further into the abiss.

Why we need to pay money for Nokia's Meego to start everything again from the beginning such as app, support and service etc since I don't think Meego will be able to reuse all existing Maemo's app and service.

As you may not get anything good from first Meego device and need to suffer the bad support for it from Nokia as you will not get Meego 2 upgrade after you had paid money for Nokia's first Meego device experiment .

I think we've seen Nokias true colours with Maemo, and I am expecting more abandonware from them with respect to Meego devices. Coupling that with talk of security frameworks on Meego devices, and it begins to sound less attractive to me.

Hopefully there will be other better options for Meego on small devices

Because Intel hosts meegozone.com and doesn't see itself as mere partner maybe (but Nokia is)?

Yes, This is Intels baby. Nokia follow.

nokia should say: "Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend."
as Albert Camus once did!

Partners does not mean they will provide full support for Meego such as application, service etc.

Let see what will happen and I don't think it will better than android and IPhone (even IPhone is not as good as I think).....

Let's not forget other manufacturers will be releasing MeeGo devices as well. If you keep this in mind the conversation changes. You might feel personally jaded by Nokia but does that mean you'd pass by an Asus or Acer flagship?
