I confess i installed way more apps and games than i would ever use or need...how can i get rid of everything except for the system..i really do not wanna reflash my n900...i just wanna have it as if i just bought it...please help..

You're contradicting yourself if you want to have it just you bought it you will have bloatware by Nokia installed getting started guide , amazon and ap news useless widgets etc

What do you want to keep? if nothing is valuable on it just format , what's the big deal?

If you refuse to flash, you can uninstall everything from the application manager, then go into the device settings, and select "Clear Device" from the drop-down menu. It's not as "clean" as reflashing but is probably the next easiest method.

What's so bad with a backup+reflash? It's probably the least messy and nerving way to do it anyway.

now that i've done it...it's actually pretty easy...

No one here ever said that it was hard to do lol. It's easier than formating the iphone, symbian, Android..etc.

It only took 2minutes at most with both eMMC flash and OS flash. Compairing to other device tooks more than 15mins
