But how did you install it and find it in Debian?
I used Synaptic and it says its installed. When i start Debian I can't find it (a simplton's expaination would be good if you can be bothered).

I thought i'd see if I could install some other audio progs - if there are any (don't have any linux/debian experince).

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix sound/save option?
I know that trying to use all the function in LMMS is a bit pointless on such a small screen/limited CPU, but maybe it is good enough to at least programme some drum patterns and export them after?
i installed using the apt-get command and when its installed i have no icon but i cam launch it from terminal just by typing lmms

i gonna have a play around see if i can figure how to get sound working somehow maybe look for a config file for lmms or something.

Thanks.
It works!

Saved project OK as well - in the setup wizard I set all the save locations to a Home/MyDocs/... directory.
The controls are tiny - but can cope with it - and are partly resizable.

Now to figure out how to make the sound work.

Is it an easy Debian sound issue as I can't get any sound from it to work in whatever prog I open?

Time to go power searching - unless someone clever has the solution.

I'm waiting for Maemo Sunvox like the moon waits for the night

Have you seen the new 1.6 shots & vids ? This is just gorgeous, I tried it on a PalmT5, it't *really* good, this has been designed for touch screen from the ground up. And it's damn stable too.

Alex says the ARM/Linux will be ready this week or the next one. Yikes !

Now the only thing missing is audio recording. Fillmore is coming.

Interesting times..!
