Hi Guys,

There is a App that I have seen on Market-Android and I am wondering if the same is available in Maemo it is called dictionary. It is a App from the website http://www.dictionary.com How can I have it on the N900.

There's the Qt version, but I don't remember the name.

But what if I want the very same App and not a substitute can I not have the very same App on Maemo? Not even using Nitdroid?

It's a different operating system so no. (Unless you use NITDroid)

I assume that some Android users share the same desire for some Maemo applications.

Only if the App developer ports it.

Not even using Nitdroid?
In which case you'll need to pull it off the Android Market somehow, and even then if you're using NITDroid, you aren't using Maemo.

Try QStarDict. You can easily add new dictionaries and customize the screen. Alternatively, you could try StarDict from within Easy Debian, which has even more customizations.
