Any idea where these are located? I've only been able to find maildir folders for outbox, sent and drafts. Can't find inbox.

Hi guys !

I have exactly the same problem...Modest email client (which is the worst I have seen for efficency...see for istance how many taps you need to press to exit from a folder with an open email ) lacks SO MANY features !

One of the most important is the possibility to mark as read multiple message (or all message): it is really crazy that after more than a year no one has added this basic function to the modest client !!

Please to some of the Gurus of the forum: create at least a script or an utility to mark all the message of a folder as read.

Now I have all my email marked as unread after PR 1.3 firmware update (with flasher).

PLEASE HELP !!! I cannot tag more than 1.000 emails one by one..

Thanks in advance,
SkyEagle

Except that won't work with POP, and hotmail has no IMAP support.

Well.. Gmail and Ovi-Mail Support IMAP.

So my work-around for hotmail/yahoo is using the 'Get mail from other account' feature in Gmail.

So basically, all my hotmail messages will be displayed in Gmail. And since Gmail supports IMAP, syncing between the mail on the server and the mail on the n900 shouldn't be a problem.

This is quiet sad, considering that Hotmail was in the email business for a long time, yet they have no support for IMAP.

Tht is a good idea actually. We have Firefox for Maemo, and since Thunderbird is also 'owned' by Mozilla it shouldn't be a problem, I think...

But for the time being, using Gmail to access mail from other accounts is the easiest way forward for the time being.
