That's probably not rootfs space - check the details tab to see what it's complaining about, there's most likely some package conflicts.

Had the same issue

xterm

#sudo gainroot
#apt-get remove libgles1-sgx-img

to get rid - unfortunately it removed preenv too & I don't seem to be able to re-install that at present.

The N900 Lord giveth and the N900 Lord also taketh away... grrrr!

Hoping that i'm merely being a bit thick - I only enabled extras-dev repo on the Faster App manager rather than in the HAM...

N900 is updating (OTA) as I type

libgles1-sgx-img seems to be a system application rather than an installed app.

removing that without knowing what you are doing is risky.

Agreed - however I did do a fair bit of reading up on libgles1-sgx-img first. There are a fair few posts on the subject on here

PS. Yes I will cry if/when I brick my phone

So the OTA update for me tells me that I have to use PC Suite Great. I think I may as well reflash to the global firmware

Don't actually have my data cable at work Freed up some space only to find that I didn't have enough battery to download it either! Suppose I can wait for 8 hours
