Hello

Here's my request for an application that is able to identify the beeps or vibrations of your finger touch and then unlock your screen , probably this will be a fancy replacement for the lock code thingy .

There's a similar app in the OVI store for Symbian OS S0 V5 : http://store.ovi.com/content/47358?clickSource=homepage

Description :

Use your fingerprint to unlock the phone, this is NOT just for fun! V2.8 enables you to block all key press when FingerPrint screen is on top! When the FingerPrint screen pops up, you need to touch your finger to the screen to be "scanned" for your identity, there will be vibration and beep sounds during the scan. The phone will be unlocked not depend on whose finger it is, but on how many beeps or vibrations since your finger touch the screen ;-)

imho i think this would be more of a novelty because it may look cool but I would find it pretty annoying if everytime I wanted to unlock my phone I would have to wait for the app to 'scan' my finger

You don't need to .. you can activate the app only when needed.. like if you wanted to show off around parties or something..
