I don't know enough chips/battery life to comment authoritatively, but I would imagine that it would be comparable to current offerings; it is ARM afterall .

Anyone care to weigh in?

I called my local Verizon store and they immediately answered with, "Are you calling about the iPad?" (Not, hello... not even asking me why I called.) Ugh.

Anyway, they have Galaxy Tab's in stock! WHOO! According to the sales rep, who was kind enough to look it up on their computer for me, they only have about a dozen at this store. Hmmm.

Considering that this is a worldwide release across hundreds of carriers during the holiday season, I'm surprised that they got this many. Do not expect them to last!

Here's a first look at the Samsung Orion:

I find Charbax previews to be frustrating and annoying. He glosses over things quickly without due attention and focuses on things that don't deserve as much attention (eg. the development board).

Here's a video of JKK gushing about Youtube Remote on the Galaxy Tab:

It seems like a neat application! I'm curious as to how the stock DLNA app compares.

This is a really cool lockscreen mod project for Android. It features many cool styles.

Some of these are beautiful! This may work well with the Galaxy Tab IF the PNGs are of a sufficient resolution.

Android and Me has a review of the stock browser and dolphin on the Galaxy Tab.

The browsers really need GPU acceleration! Perhaps opera mobile is worth looking into after all!

Still, it gets a high review despite the questionable video.

Here come the Tablet apps!

Fuze Meeting has released a table app for Android devices:

http://www.fuzemeeting.com/conferenc...droid#download

The best part? It's Tablet and Phone rolled into one app! Now, who said that a 'Tablet-ready OS' or 'multiple app versions' was needed to do this?

FTA:
(San Francisco) Nov 11, 2010 – Today, Fuze Box is turning the Android tablet into a virtual conference room with the launch of Fuze Meeting, the ultimate mobile collaboration platform available for download at http://fuze.me/droid. With several Android tablets hitting American markets this quarter, eager enterprise customers can rest easy knowing that business-powering apps are available at launch.
