hello all,

i installed meego and after experiencing the same i removed it... when removing i somehow installed power kernel. it started giving me problems while making SIP calls..

so i de-installed, but at the end it returned message: error while restoring nokia original kernel

now the same problem of sip calls still exists. kindly help me restoring original kernel pls... i tried to search but no results... some places i saw to flash the device but i am not known to these things, though i follow instructions but i am afraid to harm the device more.....

thanks in advance for all your kind help
ravi

Are you using multiboot?

If you turn your phone off and power it on with the keyboard open you should see a menu to pick the original kernel.

root
apt-get install --reinstall kernel
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-flasher

and then try to remove power kernel

OR

root
apt-get remove kernel
apt-get remove kernel-flasher
apt-get install kernel
apt-get install kernel-flasher
