I have Qtirreco with PR1.3 working after that.
Thanks for the reply but I think the issue is with the app itself because I was using it before PR 1.3 and during update I did a full reflash including eMMC so it supposed to work properly , no?

Yes the problem is with qtirreco but unfortunately I do not know what the update breaks. If you say you flashed the eMMC too then you should not be having this problem. try

apt-get remove --purge lirc qtirreco
rm -rf /home/user/MyDocs/qtirreco

and reinstall it

but if your problem is like mine it may not fix it. I had a similar problem with gnuplot where there was something still around after a purge which made it impossible to install again but I never found out what it was.

EDIT: Fixed path as pointed out by Kolos

If QtIrreco doesn't work after upgrade you try to uninstall app and delete map "qtirreco" from MyDocs, then install QtIrreco and download remotes again. This should resolve the problem.

Try to remove application and install it again.

1. If you have already installed rootsh, open x-terminal and type next to remove QtIrreco:
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get remove --purge qtirreco
2. Close x-terminal.

3. Open "File manager", tap on "N900", find folder "qtirreco" and delete it.

4. Open "App manager" and install QtIrreco.

5. Open QtIrreco and download remotes.
