Hey,

I released version 1.8-21 of pyplucker. Check it out here.

pyplucker can be used to created offline versions of websites, so that you can carry them with you and read them offline.
I use it every day to create my daily newspaper. It has no gui yet, so you need xterm & nano or vi.

e.g. i use these lines to get my daily news:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
plucker-build -f golem_news -p /media/mmc1 http://www.golem.de/pda/pdahome.html
plucker-build -f heise_news -p /media/mmc1 http://www.heise.de/pda/newsticker
the created files can be read by the excellent FBReader.

hi loki:
For your guide I initially got the following error when running the script you posted:
Code:
Error: Pluckerhome (/home/user/.plucker) does not exist or isn't a directory
So I went into Xterm and created a .plucker directory. Thereafter it ran fine and I was able to read them in FBReader.

This will come in very handy!
Thanks, loki

Any chance of getting a version compiled for the Nokia 770 under IT2006? This would be the answer to all of my problems and return my tablet to daily use.

Just install the bora package from here: http://maemo.lancode.de/?path=./bora/binary
(The click-to-install link isn't working on http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2006/pyplucker/)
