Hey all,

Anyone actually try blogging from the n800? I tried the other day and found it a little painful... I use wordpress and I tried via the website, and then I downloaded the wordpress client but didn't really find it much better... curious to see if anyone has any tips for blogging on the go.

Obviously a bluetooth keyboard would help I end up moving text files back and forth from my n800 to my pc, and then copy/paste into the blog when ready...

Hey mate,

I blog from the N800 sometimes, but it can be a little frustrating depending on if you're post is just text or you want to add images etc.

I think the N810 will make blogging much more accessible for tablet users.

I'd say BT keyboard is the best way to blog with the N800 on the go

I have had success in my brief experience w/ wordpy. It allows you to work offline and upload directly to you wordpress site.

Now if i only had a reason to have a blog....

I posed pretty much the same question a few days ago.

I've made a few successful posts with wordpy. Haven't heard back from the developer if the app is still in 'active' development.

Still trying to figure out what might be the best means to access & edit photos from a digital camera.

( Beyond that, also noticed something about drupal ... way advanced )

This comes on the Maemo Wordpy homepage (http://maemo-wordpy.garage.maemo.org) and also in the Help app that you can run from the menu.

Although I have to improve the help in Maemo Wordpy, so these things are easier to find.

I have responded to your bug report about an hour after you wrote it, but received no answer yours.

Maemo Wordpy is in active development (you can follow the development in the SVN), I can't launch every week a new version, because this is a hobbie and I don't have all the free time that I would like.

To improve Maemo Wordpy, I need feedback from users because is sure that I am wrong in many things.

Sorry for my bad english.

Cheers.

I use my 770 for blogging; except that its really complicated to type html-tags ("<", "/", "p", ">" takes longer than the whole paragraph before), its OK.

I should say, though, that I use the 770 for longer posts only. Mobile blogging for short notices is more comfortable and quicker sending an MMS from my cell phone to my blog account.
