Hmmm... Perhaps just variable communications issues with Spotify. The ongoing problem does make it borderline unusable though as I keep having to relaunch it again and again until at least a relevant part of my playlists manages to appear, although I'm still plugging away with QSpot whenver possible, rather than turning to the Touch/iPhone.
Also, I understand it may not be a priority but can something be done about the relatively high battery suckage? In use it appears that QSpot only uses marginally more CPU percentage than Media Player... but Media Player can play overnight and the N900 can still have 50% charge remaining, while with QSpot that will totally kill the battery well before the morning.

Yeah - I realise there's not that many places you can streamline given the limitations of a non-official client. As I said, I didn't expect it to be a priority. Would be nice though if you can eke out some power saving.
A few other things have struck me while using QSpot quite heavily over the Christmas period - I don't know how much of this would be tied to limitations of libopenspotify. Sorry if any of these have been mentioned already:
- Possible to be able to edit playlists on-unit? Edit tracks in playlists (which the official client can) or even whole individual playlists? (which the official client doesn't seem to be able to do, and a feature I'd really like)
- Is it possible to grab the What's New pages like the official clients?
- Related Artists is a feature I really like on the desktop clients. Any chance of it happening on QSpot?
- Some sort of independent resume within playlists possible? (i.e. QSpot keeps track of where you left off in a track in any given playlist)
- Search history would be nice.

I hope that at least the playlist loading problem can be solved soon. Functions like search history and related artists should be possible to implement in a future version (already supported by the library). The What's New and playlist editing / creation functionality will require additions to the library, but it could definitely be investigated. It would be convienient in case playlists could be edited on the device itself. Thanks for the feedback!

One other thing: Volume controls don't work while the screen is blanked. Media Player behaviour is that the volume controls work while the screen is inactive.
Happy New Year, and keep up the good work!
