To everyone who says they should finish 2.2 first, you should know that 2.2 worked better than 2.1, which worked better than 1.6. For some reason it just has turned out that way. I don't know if FroYo was just easier to work with or if the dev teamgets all excited or what, but I think the dev team is making the right call here.

didnt see anywhere in the official forum where it is quoted by anyone of the devs that the phone calls are working fully with voice (i know you can call and answer but the party at the other end cannot hear you).
i do not trust the pocketnow link because it is not official from either of the devs working for nitdroid.

It could also be the result of my oft-made argument that, ironically, while Maemo (not MeeGo, hopefully) was getting increasingly less open-source and even more treacherously dependent on Nokia's closed-source applications and architecture, Android was becoming more and more open-source and making it easier to implement more things with less dependency on the closed portions. I'd like to hear from the NITdroid guys if that was what helped them the most.

other than if its written in russian on alex's twitter ( i cant read russian ) i still cnnot find anywhere a video where it shows microphone to be working to carry a regular phone conversation.
i did see where it was mentioned the sound is working but that i think is for the music player and such meaning the speaker is working still not mic. though
