I am not able to remove Nitdroid. When i run that command, it says some resources are being used. I am trying to un-install the kernel-power and then try to remove the Nitdroid installer. Let me see if that works. Thanks for guiding me though.

I managed to removed Nitdroid and then installed the kernel. When i try to run the command kernel-config load ideal , i get the same msg : "This kernel version 2.6.28-omap1 is not supported. Please make sure that kernel-power is installed and running. If you have just installed the kernel, you need to shutdown and boot to activate it.
To reinstall the power user kernel run : 'apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher' ".

I ran the reinstall command, rebooted and tried again, still i get the same message.

Any other way to fix this?

Hey tele, i was looking at the list of installed apps and noticed a package called "Maemo 5 PR1.2 kernel for multiboot".

Could this be causing any issues with the titans kernel? I am not able to uninstall it using the app manager, could you tell me the command to uninstall it? Thanks.

try this:

- close all apps
- open rootshell
- type: apt-get clean and then apt-get autoclean and then apt-get -f install

and then try to reinstall power-kernel

I tried to uninstall Maemo 5 PR1.2 kernel for multiboot using Fast Application Manager and it did the trick. I installed the new kernel and overclocked my N900. Thank you all for helping me out.
