Well, you might tell us, what you read in the details of your application manager, the crystal balls over here are not showing anything.

I've seen a full /tmp cause inexplicable problems for apt (and therefore HAM and FAM). That's probably rebooting sometimes fixes things.

exactly.

and all it takes to be an tester instead of asking silly questions and littering threads is to know two things:

1. http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU
(general page)

2. http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU/QA
(buglist)

and if you have some problems, go to #2 and see if it can be found there. if not, go to bugzilla and file a bug!

when I found out that shortcut keys weren't working, first thing that crossed my mind was: "has someone already reported the bug?", not "help me it not works!!!!"

I just read that I need to use the PCSuite, that's all. Nothing gets added to the log or anything. I wish I could tell you more, but I can't.

You need rootsh installed for this to work[not the community update, but the code below].
Please show the output of
Code:
df -h
sudo gainroot
apt-get -f update
apt-get install community-ssu-enabler

A regular and reliable poster on the Nokia discussions website is suggesting that he has been receiving regular updates since installing CSSU however I cannot see they have been any updates on my phone, or any reference to them on this thread.

Have I been missing the updates? If so how do I get them on my N900 as CSSU repositry still seems to enabled on my phone?

http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/...es/td-p/905693

I have seen around 8 updates for various apps already running on my phone in th last coulpe of days, which from past experience is an high number, but I assume this is just a coincidence and not related to the CSSU?

have you tried the other button in the prompt where you have a checkbox to agree that "nokia isn't responsible for blahblahblah"?

when i got the message about using pc suite it was because i was using maemodder and some of its modifications, i restored all settings back to default via maemodder and the install worked perfectly after that.

i'm receving updates and the only bug i have is already known - web bookmark issue.

Hey!

This new update system is very welcome, but I ran the installation and the first after the upgrade ongekmiin.

Normally (before the upgrade) when you pressed the number key on your desktop so you received directly from the field which was able to write the phone number and when you pressed the letter to the address book opened in the names starting with the letter.

Does anyone else have a similar problem and a solution is found.
