I think it might be cool with a holster that made it look look like you were carrying a gun. No one laughs at those.

On second thought, "user shot while reaching for his N900" doesn't sound very appealing.

The only reason i don't get one of those is because I don't like having the lens uncovered

the camera sits in a hole, so not much change of scratches or damage, dust yes, but that happens also with the normal cover

Frustratingly, no. No lens cover. That switch merely tells the camera whether or not the lens camera is closed (to start/stop applications); they didn't go to the effort of actually building in a lens cap.

Let me know couple months from now how that battery goes... I had two of them die in less than six months. What a waste.

Well if worse comes to worst I can probably source a battery somewhere else.. really just needed the cover.

Well so far it's amazing.. 5 hours and only one bar gone. Normally it starts complaining around the 8 hour mark.
