Hey folks. I just re-installed racechrono on my trusty old N82 (since there will never be an N900 version. ), but of course the N82 has horrible GPS quality. The slightest disturbance and it drops out! I was wondering if there was a way to have my N900 act as a bluetooth gps device, using it's superior gps (and AGPS - since my N900 has a data plan, too) for the N82.

I did a search here and found gpsserver in the garage, but there doesn't seem to have been much activity lately and it's in an early version so i'm not sure if it's safe to install yet. Anyone tried this out? Or is there something similar around that i haven't found with my google-fu?

Thanks guys.

I have suspended work on the project since the new multifunctional program (Columbus Navigation Kit) were announced.
Now a new version is available. It works, but also requires several manual steps while installation which are described in new documentation. Please use it if you like. Any proposals and suggestions please write here in the forum.
