Yeah i checked with the cat command and it gave me an output of 850000 which i guess is 850mhz which is what I want so I think it worked. Thank you very much once more. Its been more than an hour now and it is still fixed at 850mhz . Now since Ihave to do this at every startup since a reboot will reset it , would it be possible to make it a queenbeecon widget command that i could just press ? If so how would I go about it, just edit the queenbeecon command and paste your command inside it ?

I don't know about this app. Most likely it would be to find the cause of that freq drop. If u suspect maemodder u should uninstall it. For me it was the phone app. U can try it yourself. Unlock min scaling and start the phone app or make a call. Min. scaling should get overwritten with 125 Mhz after that. It's quick and dirty!

Hi guys!
I work since several weeks with kernel power 46 at 1000 Mhz.
I am very satisfied of it.

However trying to using ethernet connection RJ45 over USB I
have a problem with my LogiLink USB 2.0 RJ45 Fast Ethernet Adapter.
All works fine with USB mount process (h-e-n) but at the command UDHCPC i got the following message :

SIOCGIFINDEX failed! : No such device

I have noticed that command IFCONFIG do not list any device with the name eth0.

I suppose that there is no driver for the a.m. device built in the kernel power 46.

Anyone can help me ??

I don't think it's an overclocking issue, which is the topic of this thread.

As I understand it, the kernel we use is the regular kernel with features added. I don't think it subtracts support.

Perhaps you can find a USB networking thread where this sort of issue is discussed. I'm sure you aren't the only one who has tried it with this kernel.

I've installed the power kernel and now the camera app doesn't work. It closes just after it launches saying 'operation failed'.

Is this a problem that anyone else has had?

Which Power Kernel have you installed?

Check out this post http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=96. It might be an incompatible application like Fcam... Remove it and see how you go.

Here is another link that may help you http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...0&postcount=93

Yes, it's probably Fcam related. It will work, but you need compatibility. I forget the details, but they are in the threads. Verify that's the problem and I'm sure someone will find the details.

I've already tried uninstalling Fcam and rebooting...the problem persists.

Firstly I had whatever the latest version of the power kernel is from extras-testing, then I tried updating it with the version currently in extras-devel to see if it made any difference.

I've tried uninstalling the power kernel as per the instructions on the wiki but that didn't work.

Unfortunately the link to the updated fcam drivers in the post that your second link points to doesn't seem to work.
