However, if you are running from a custom transitions.ini file then that will be located in
Code:
usr/share/themes/<your-theme-name>/
.

So, in your case I would go for the following - make sure you have rootsh and leafpad installed from the repos;

Code:
sudo gainroot
cp /usr/share/themes/ubuntu/transitions.ini /home/user/MyDocs
mv /home/user/MyDocs/transitions.ini /home/user/MyDocs/transitions.ini.ubu
cp /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini /home/user/MyDocs
Use leafpad from terminal and have a look at the bottom of both files for something called "thp tweaks" and simply check that the files appear to be more or less the same. If you need help zip them both up and attach them here in the forum so that we can have a look for you.
I've got the same problem. This error message comes when I try to start the "CSSU Features configuration". I've followed the instructions and can't seem to find any faults. Are there any ways to reset this theme settings and just go default and then start the CSSU Features configuration?

If it happens with hildon-home. Have you tried restarting hildon-home it?
Hmm on a note am using swap on my sdcard and not emmc
Yeah restarting hildon-home fixed the system overloading but it's inconvenient to keep doing that all the time. I'm not using SD card swap either and i'm already set my default swapiness to 30. By default there will always be SWAP on eMMC, and I don't see how you are not using it?

Enlightening me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that you're wrong. Unless you created another swap memory on SD Card.

Use my CSSU Transitions Tuner instead. It will add missing fields into your transitions.ini if they are not present when saving settings. You won't loose your customizations in your transitions.ini and no need for manual copy-paste hazzling.

I don't think you're the only one who never notice this symptom. Since 99.99% of all N900 users experienced it.
Nope, never had this with hildon-home (well, maybe a handful of times over the last year, not since CSSU anyway). I sometimes have Modest start running away with CPU usage (heating the phone and draining the battery), but killing that fixes the problem.

And I must have missed your poll on this issue - 99.99% seems excessive given the paucity of complaints about it on here.

I didn't make any pool but there are a lot of people on here had this issue. I don't have Modest heating up the phone and drain battery with CSSU, my Modest killed itself off and died continously with an error message said "Internal error...blah blah" and then it's restarting itself again. My problem had always been hildon-home in a couple of days of up time. Whether it's without CSSU or with. I get about 2days and 19hours maxed and then hildon-home become unstable. It's only spike up when you wake the device from idle. But sometimes hildon-home overloading the CPU when the phone left untouched and then freeze the phone, the alarm freeze up and could not turned off, the screen doesn't respond to touch, the device frozen for a while.... etc.

I had 1000+ mails in my yahoo mail and modest listed them all. I have downloaded some messages for reading it later but now modest shows no emails in mailbox(while I am not connected to internet). Does modest cache mails only for limited time? But gmail got few mails and its still there even if I am offline. Not sure if its CSSU bug since I never used yahoo mail with modest before CSSU.

And one more thing, modest loads my oldest message first which I really don't like. Isn't it better to make newest mails load first then older once?

Hi all,
No way to make it work with the Humanity theme.

I copied/pasted the "thp_tweaks" section from the hildon desktop theme to the Humanity transitions.ini.

"CSSU Transitions Tuner" works but not the "CSSU Features Configurations".

Indeed, it works pretty well with the original Nokia NSeries theme. So the problem really comes from the Humanity theme. Damned, I love it!

Is there any info somewhere about "how to make a thme CSSU compliant"?

Thanks, I'll switch my theme and go on with CSSU.

Couldn't understand your meaning. But only those mails are stored locally which were opened at least once. If a new mail has never been opened in modest, it will be listed but content will not be downloaded. I may be wrong though but that's what seems to be the case.
