why can i only see channel 6?

I believe i'm using the correct driver which came from here.

And the instructions i followed were from here.

Question: under access point tab of faircrack v0.3, what is the plus and the minus for? is this to change the channel which you trying to scan? Doesn't seem to make any difference when i change it...

I think it auto scans channels doesnt it, ive seen channel 1 6 and 11 on mine when im trying it.

i'm seing errors when:

could this be the cause? how do i fix it?

i'm not too keen on easydebian, it made my system pretty unstable before when i tried installing openvas in it
