what resolution are you trying to play??? if its over 800x480 then it wont play...

In that case, do we need to convert the high resolution videos to 800x480 resolution using any software? But how about the quality of the videos after this convertion!?

essaie avec kmplayer ca marche impec avec moi mais j'ai le meme souci avec mediaplayer
I am a little bit desesparating...
I am unable to play mp4 files with default media player.
I am talking about the files downloaded by cuteTube and gPodder.
Please is anyone can help to play them.
Mediaplayer display an unsupported codec file error ..
I already installed "extra codec support".
Do you think the problem can be caused by "kernerl for power user" that i installed ?
