I think Apple only has patents on a subset of multitouch behaviour\gestures, not the whole multi-touch concept\implementation. Something about locking vertical\horizontal movements during scrolls.
'Touch' is the wrong angle for Nokia, as it's been pretty much cornered by Apple...
IMHO the name should emphasize the device's openness, versatility and flexibility.

I like Nexus. The geek reference is subtle. But something from both Bladerunner and Star Trek would be cool.
