I think it's Extras-Devel.
For all that are using N900 for the first time:
First you should go to this link with your mobile's web browser:
http://repository.maemo.org/
Then you should click install on the fremantle extras-devel.
After that click yes to activate it in App manager.
Let App Manager refresh itself on demand.
then go to X-Terminal and type:
If you still have problems, then post it here, I am sure maemo users will gladly help you.Code:root apt-get update apt-get install preenv

d warning is failed to fetch http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/dists..........
nd d error is sum files failed 2 dwnld, dey hv been ignored, or old, or old ones used instead....
nd d preenv still doesn't wrk.....
it's error is cnt find package preenv

Your keyboard seems to have a major problem - it's scrambling what you're trying to say.
From what I can decipher, it seems that your N900 appears to have trouble updating the repository information?
Copy/paste the log of what's happening...
