Just gave this a shot. Didnt crash though the slide to unlock screen was pretty messed up with artifacts etc.

As far as how many times I have to press the button to get the slide to unlock screen I was always forced to press 2 times. I have a sneaky suspicion that its some other app like perhaps quick launch causing the problem.

I'm sorry, what? You have to manually enable it in order for it to be on, or let some theme or program like Theme Customizer stick in a transitions.ini file that does it for you, to turn out rotation on. Just undo what you did to turn it on, and bam, no auto-rotate. (IE, go in your transitions.ini file and set the relevant value to 0.) If everything is auto rotating for you, you DO have force rotation on, and thus should check your active transitions.ini file.

Anyway...

I personally like setting the slide to unlock screen rotate. Now all that's needed is for themes to include a vertical background as well as all the other vertical icons, and the slide to unlock screen slightly reprogrammed/cloned to use different ones depending on screen rotation, and bam. Portrait slide-to-unlock screen. Which is something I've been wanting for a while, personally.

The loading window (the one with a moving dial next to the title) always shows in landscape mode, this can be fixed in later versions I guess, but it means we have to disable splash screens in portrait mode.

I cannot find any report to my recent modest bug, before filing it i would like to check here first:

when using reply or reply to all on an email where the sender address contains accented characters, the name is either cut or complete address is erased altogether. in many cases, all original addresses are erased, thus reply results in empty address-to line.

Can anyone else confirm this as CSSU issue please?

i notice this, it would be more fluid if they load in potrait,
btw what apps are closed source?
all the ones built in?
because potrait convesations, music player, and better distributed keyboardboard would be nice.

The app menu, settings panel, h-a-m (and various others) auto-rotate even with the setting off. Not everything does though, ergo I don't have the setting on (plus I don't have any customizer apps installed, so I know exactly what changes I've made to the transitions.ini file).
