looking foward to the disable option... I thinks that's a must have! last.fm doesn't works good with batch editing and I see a lot of songs of mine in my list, wich trashes everything!

for those whose can't wait for a disable option from maemo-scrobbler, I've codded 2 Beecon widgets to disable and enable the scrobbler.
I've tested a little, it seems that its working

You'll need Queen-Beecon...

My current plan is to have a widget on the desktop where you can "love" tracks, then it should be easy to add a checkmark to enable/disable song queuing.
Do you know this application: status-area-applet-mediaplayer?

It's a widget for the status area which shows the cover art and name of artist and song title while the song is playing. If you tap on the applet the mediaplayer is starting.

Maybe it's possible to add the planned widget functionality to this applet?

When I play music and don't have a networj connection, mafw-lastfm consumes 99% CPU until i connect or until the battery dies...

Sorru if this is already posted, I'm onmy phone and don't have a chance to read the entire thread.

Are you using the latest version from extras-devel?

I can't reproduce your problem when I

1. switch to Flight mode
2. start playing music

In this case the scrobbler should use /home/user/.cache/scrobbler/

regards Uwe

Hi, here is what situation I was in when this happened:

Phone in general profile, network set to autoconnect to wifi only (not cellular). In this case I was in the car, no wifi available. Played songs with Media Player and closed it. I'm not sure if I was connected to cellular when the playing started or if I was disconnected the entire time.

Then some time later I felt my phone was warm in my pocket, I loaded Conky and saw mafw-lastm using 99% CPU constantly. After I reconnected to network, it stopped using 99% CPU and everything was normal.

If I get more time I'll experiment and see if I can reproduce this myself. Thanks!

I started using maemo-scrobbler today and I think I have a problem with it: it manages to send the information to the server about the "loved" tracks, but doesn't scrobble any songs at all. I've tried by restarting the device, thinking that it might be needed to apply some of the changes, but still nothing happened. Any ideas?
