***UPDATE*** now 47 months on and x-clamp fix has just failed....not a bad run

Im having issues installing this. Im in xterminal and trying to run the code
root
mkdir -P /home/user/.config/Team16/gpsp/
chmod 777 /opt/maemo/usr/games
chown user /opt/maemo/usr/games
chown -R user:users /home/user/.config/Team16
chmod 666 /opt/gpspm/conf.gpsp
but when i type in root, it says "root cannot be found". Any tips?

Have you thought about improving mame or importing your own version ?
