@sorodoros: qstardict is powerful for me mainly when I stay off from internet. but I using it also when I'm online too. Sometime I use www.wordreference.com and few times I used google translator.

@developers: I'd like to use qstardict without open it but always working, simply tapping long on a unknown word and select something like "translate it" (similar to the google function present in google taskbar). It's possible?
I think as an add function like if I right click on mouse. It should be present with copy,rename,...

Could someone please help. I finally figured out how to install the dictionaries and found a programme to zip them. I downloaded the oxford dictionary and transferred it to my device and QStar picked it up. Decided to download four more dictionaries and have the files in the same folder as the Oxford one but the extra dictionaries are not working in the app. When I go to Dictionaries under config it shows all the additional dictionaries but whilst the Oxford one has a V next to enabled the others have a 0. So presumably this means they are not enabled. So how do I enable the additional dictionaries?

EDIT: Worked it out. Just have to press the 0 it seems although it did not always seem to respond.

Can we use the dictionaries when they are zipped? I was unaware of that, I thought they had to be extracted. Could someone elaborate on that, please?

That is the web address. I meant the HTTP querry - the one you would use to configure a web search from within qStartdict. Go to configure/plugins. Select "web," enable it, then tap on the tool icon, then add or edit cons.

Is this somehting I've configured wrong or is this some kind of font bug? This occurs in the font category called "example."

"Example" is configuted for black italics.

to enable/disable you have to press the small spot before V or O letter.....

How do you switch between the different dictionaries when you search for a word? I seem to only be able to get the results for the first dictionary that has that word. For example I have the Oxford and a synonyms dictionary with Oxford being first. If I search for a word it gives the Oxford dictionary result. But I would like to be able to switch to also see the synonyms dictionary result (without having to disable the Oxford dictionary or moving it down the list of dictionaries).
