Hi biggzy

qwerty12 put me in the right direction;

You need to edit your /etc/systemui/systemui.xml and /etc/systemui/call.xml files, making a backup just in case.

If you look in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48 for the icons you wish to use.
If you play around with the priority attribute you can alter the menu positions.
JUST REMEMBER THE "powerup_memainmenu_normalmode" BUTTON HAS TWO ENTRIES, change the prioity on both.

Here are mine (plus the backups just in case): systemui.zip

I noticed the tweakr app adds functionality to snap to grid for all your desktops. Bring on the tidyness!

I would like to change the status bar menu but don't know where to start.
The hardest part of that for me has been to figure out what is what for the icon to be assigned. The names are cryptic. I tried adding a button with my own call and that broke it. I wanted to add my own reboot or init command. I would prefer to invoke reboot or "init 6"
as a Xterm command. But it wants interactive root access?

... am fairly happy with my desktops now ... although I can't wait for the thememaker to support windows so that I can make my own theme, and not just use loopable wallpapers with other themes ...

Hi,
I'm using your files and end current taks dosn't show up. But it looks like it should show up. Is there a typo in there I'm not seeing?

Can you explain some of the fields like return and priority a little better?

Thanx!
