I was wondering that i have done something wrong from side !
So basic is that some feature may not work with CSSU installed.

So is there going to be an solution to it as application icons shortcuts are small and dose not look good

Thanks in advance for the further development and looking into this matter

Didn't find this from this thread. Since the built-in calculator doesn't work in portrait (the layout is a complete mess and I think it's closed-source?) how about considering the Speedcrunch as an alternative?

package overview Speedcrunch

It's in -Devel for now though. Seems promising in my opinion. Oh, and the source is available.

I have these programs installed, are there any problems with kernel-power swappolube, transitioncontrol, matans modified desktop and epitaphs tune-up script or should i un-install them first ? Or is it safe to download cssu and overwrite things ?

i updated themeorganizer last week and i didn't have cssu installed and my phone went into a reboot loop, not a massive problem as i'd made a backup the day before. i've been back a few pages to see if this had been addressed but did'nt see anything.
Can't wait for cssu to become stable sounds like it's making the n900 a device that nokia couldn't/didn't

You can do a lot more with Qalculate and it's also open source. There is a unfinished port in extras-devel.

Yeah, I noticed that as well, was just too lazy to edit my post. Thanks though. Did you happen to notice though, that the Qalculate has not been updated since 2009/2010 so it most likely isn't an active project? What I mean is this : you have a open-source project but no one maintaining it.

If you ask me maintaining both the Qalculate and the CSSU would be too much to ask from developers. However, I'd like to see Qalculate, if it gets started again. But for now I think Speedcrunch, since it is an active project, would be a better option, for now that is.

Speedcrunch might be a good short-term solution, but I hope we will have something as powerful as Qalculate someday
I'm not good with C++, but maybe I should try to tweak the GUI a little and look what happens

P.S About updates, was sick the last two days so haven't been on a lot, I'll try to push an update tomorrow I guess.
Now thatīs what iīm talking about! Looks great, and this will not confuse users because the GUI looks like the for now standard one, if it will replace the media player we have now of course.

Oh yeah... I found the cause which was the uninstaller of TC that automaticly restored original PR1.3 hildon-home from backup. Uploaded new version of TC minute ago. To get back nine desktops do this after 20 mins:
sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install --reinstall hildon-home
reboot
