There might be a transparent proxy in use somewhere. By you on your device (e.g. Privoxy), or by your ISP.

Port 80 is a standard web port, so there should be no issue with GPRS connection via this port.
As you will be using a Web connection rather than a Wap connection, you will require a DNS address as opposed to Proxy address.

This problem has been identified and brought into attention. I cannot give any comments on what might cause this problem and how different factors have a possible influence. At the moment, we donīt have any answers on when and if this particular issue will be solved. Usually bugs are fixed when Nokia releases a new firmware.
