I experience problems with maemo.org too, but for me Talk and Bugs works fine and fast. And uploading a comment to maemo.org/downloads with the opening of another application at the same time leads the browser to a crash, with 100% probabilities. Have you ever experienced this bug? I've already reported it to Bugzilla but it seems I'm the only one experiencing this...

The past few days (not today yet), talk.maemo.org has been hanging for me sometime around 5:00 or 6:00 UTC.

I can think of one or two folk I wish maemo.org would hang, but that wasn't what you meant, was it? I reckoned it was the worst I'd seen it on the 30th but a little better now. Hopefully the new server is not too far away.

The move is ongoing. It's quite a big operation to move all the services in maemo.org to new hardware. There's a lot of stuff happening in garage, the extras repostirories, autobuilder and the whole backend that isn't visible to users, but has to be running all the time. Moving that is a lot of work, ask X-Fade or ferenc.

What hardware are you using to serve the site? Sometimes it feels as if it is being served by an N900.
