You have *all* of those repositories enabled in your App Manager?

It sounds like you have jumped headfirst into shark-infested waters without stopping for a cage or scuba gear.

I suspect the specific problem here is that you have to have the -devel repo enabled to pull in stuff that may be there when installing some of these.

BTW, the only repos you should need can be counted on one hand.

as it seems there may be an upgrade of the servers today - could be related to that? - might be worth holding out until later/tomorrow when the repositories are a bit happier and trying again, just to rule that out

I have had this problem for around 3 weeks, so tht rules out the repos being the problem. the only other thing i can think would be the application log, i mistakenly deleted it before reflash...any thoughts

Somehow, either through a virtue of prayer or noobmonkey was right, the error meassages are now a thing of the past. However one thing i did do was disable many catalogues, so in case someone else comes across this problem, try disabling all catalogues except those you actualy use....and just to be sure pray a little aswell, im not sure which helped me

i have the same problem whit the libssl0.9.7, i have all the repositorys working, but i dont know why i can not get it whit apt-get.
i flash the phone some days ago and now i want to install the facebook aplications that come in the software of the phone and i can not, before i never had that problem.
