Nono.. don't get me wrong.

Yes, users are a problem. But no.. they are not the only problem. Very often they just compound it.

The device is great. You won't find me on tis forum opening threads on something wrong. Others are less lucky and get annoyed about that - I can imagine that too. They want to share that. But most people are very pleased with it like me...

If you don't do very awkward things, you should be pleased with the N900.
But with a device with so many options, you will be tempted.

If you worry to much, hold your money in your pocket untill it has a fair userbase.
Then you will see what the N900 will bring.
allong with the most likely firmware updates that will iron out some crackles in the software.

my N900 works perfect apart from not been able to get repositories to update(which is pretty big problem i know). Apart from that, this device is spectacular in every way.

People come to this (or other) forum usually when there is problem to try to solve it or just complain. From number of complaints you can get two opinions:

- yes, there is so much problems with N900
- no, problems are usual for this type of device, it is enormous success and it is just this small amount of defects making big influence on this forum

When reading these forums I often feel that I am the only one without any problems. No creaking frame, no reboots (ridiculously stabile actually), FM transmitter seems lot better than my last external one. Love the communication integration.

All the software is not there yet, but I seriously wouldn't expect it to be at this point. If Nokia messes things up, most things are fixable by community. The potential of the HW & SW platform is way above any of the competition. I'm really happy with my N900.
