No idea actually. I don't know much about programming, but judging by pycage's post it seems very easy.

its not a mammoth task to keep the explanation simple.
Its not like rewriting your entire app or logic, however it might involve a few minor code changes if some platform specific coding has been done by the developer.

For example calling some platform api to list files.
its dir in windows, ls in unix

but to keep it simple, its a boon for a dev to have platform independent frameworks, so he just needs to spend time on his idea of creating the app and programming.

Thanks for the input gents.

Whilst I don't really understand how to develop with QT4.6, I at least now know why it is a good thing.

I asked this a friend of mine who knew about this stuff and first he said "w-w-w-dot-google-dot-com" and I slapped him and he said something to the effect of: "If your phone OS supports it, and the next best thing come sout supporting it, your phones can atleast use the same applications."

I think that makes sense and is correct, right?
