I think [citation needed] that the linux kernel picks the fastest swap of all the available ones. And you could use swap files too (that can be put in MyDocs if you want, and put a low prioriity to it).

About size of swap, could depend on what way of multitasking you are using and how the app is using memory. If i have i.e. fbreader with a book loaded in background while you are doing other things in foreground, probably won't be so damaging that it could be in a "slow" swap while the fastest one is used by really active apps.

But of course, could be physical things to consider, like doing a lot of rewriting on flash memory devices, not very sure how it works specially related to the kind that uses the N900 to say that it could be bad or good in the long run..

Not sure what i installed recently that caused this to happen but i just want to know if this is actually safe to do if followed properly with no performance issues except of course faster Multitask. Also any specific SD card i should look into? i know there is different generations but also know that Kingston tends to be the one to go to. Any suggestions? also there wouldn't happen to be a tutorial video about this would there?

???
optimal would be using 100% of the RAM, not 0

Is it impossible to construct an sd card with real dedicated RAM
(e.g. a buffer of 512MBytes RAM)?

Yes.

And you get the longer explanation:

SD Cards can at best provide flash-based swap. Since an SD card is basically extra thin PCB-style substrate with a NAND die on top, controller, and covered by plastic, it's not feasible to modify one to provide RAM and none are made to provide it.

Extra long explanation yours courtesy of "Yes" being too short for the forum software
