Running at 900mhz using Lehtos first modified 900mhz kernel.

The device is noticeable faster. Example many flash sites that would not run smooth before do run now and just in general everything is faster.

Battery life is same if not slightly better in average use, but if you are using N900 intensively the battery life is about 10% less than before overclocking.

The device in a long intensive use will get slightly hotter than before.

Please can all posters identify which exact kernel variant they are using.

Possibly down to usage case.
BBC iPlayer does work but you have to watch it a certain way. When you find the video you want to watch, at the bottom right of the video, click the middle icon.....

Then your program will play smoothly

as you are now putting together a new thread info for where one can find kernels you are talking about would be appreciated and maybe short description of kernel differencies. I myself tried Lehtos 700 and 900/500 but the flash content I was trying to watch still was unusable so I'm now waiting for possible PR1.2 improvements before trying again

I flashed using Lehtos' 125-800 kernel 3 days ago. I usually use my phone to browse over wifi and play around with games (if I have the chance). My battery level used to drop to about 50% by the time I went to bed (I usually leave it to charge over night). Now... its staying around 75% so I think battery life has improved.

I have the 125/900 kernel....at first I thought my phone was crashing during flash playback due to the overclock....I then flashed back to 800, then again today at 125/900 and all seems stable now.Must be a bad moment having the browser crash but hopefully not due to the overclock.....

Games (especially Mame is superfast)
Browsing photos, scrolling much faster!
Booting is faster
overall the phone is snappier

I`m debating whether to flash the 125/900 500DSP.....will see if my phone stays stable, maybe

i'v been using lehtos 900mhz for few days, no crashes but have had some heat issues when running apps like sygic maps, psx4all. part from that its fine, battery life when not using cpu@full is better with this firmware me thinks
