I would be puzzled if you would be able to use a flash card if this card was previously used in a WP7 phone. There's even a KB article which "explains" this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2450831
The first link I have actually linked in my above post as well and I have read that. The second link pertains to the HTC HD2, which in the case provided is using a fresh SD card as opposed to the one already formatted by WP7 with CPRM.
The issue here is how to reverse the CPRM'ed SD card to a usable FAT32 file system that can be detected by your computer or other hardware.
The only known methods so far of wiping a WP7 SD card is to use it on some Symbian devices such as the N8, E72, E52. Also I heard some Black Berry Bold's, Canon Camera's (G10, 5D, etc), and some other microSDHC capable gadgets can format WP7 SD's ... but N900 seems not to be able to currently although it is running a top a Linux Kernel that should be able to at least detect it.
I figured it might become a useful way of formatting our SD cards once Nokia comes out with WP7 devices.
