Great video, great improvements - can't wait to try this once I get home.
Big kudos to the guy working on this!

(anyone seen the "Proto..." print on the right border of the depicted IT? I wonder if that hardware is better or worse than ours :-)

Sorry to break this to everyone, but the headphones/speaker feature has been integrated into the FM Radio for months now... The button on the UI is new, but the feature was always available in the settings.

The only new feature (which is big enough IMO) is the local stations list.

YES! The small icon to dwitch between HP and Speaker right in the applet instead of the full app really makes me happy!!! Thanks also to the guy who did this inside Nokia.
unique, which pins of the HP jack did you use for the extra antenna? is the signal taken from the L or R or both pins? the other pole would go to GROUND, I assume, or shell I connect BETWEEN L and R?
BTW: has anyonoe found those 4-pin-plugs as an extra part so we can connect a separate MIC and HP to the N800?

thanks, karl.

I do like this feature but I seem to not be able to pick up more than very garbled stuff on a couple stations, where things like car radios work fine. Even with the headphones plugged in, doesn't seem to help.

OK Now I just feel like an idiot, but where did you find the new radio app? I've been all over garage.maemo.org looking for it!

Thanks!!!

It should be listed in your Application Manager as fmradio in the Multimedia section.

If you aren't getting many stations, it is probably because you aren't plugging in headphones. The wire of the headphones is used for an antenna.

Wonder who maintains the list? I can get downloads for other cities, but when I choose Singapore/Singapore, nothing happens. Hope someone in Nokia can rectify this.
