I have several dictionaries, but none showing any problem. Even pronounciations are displayed correctly, and I think it was not the case before! I also have Merriam-Webster's Collegiate without your glitches, but the name of my MW-Collegiate does not have an (R) attached to it, so it's apparently from a different source.

However, also the appearance of qstardict has changed for me. It did look like yours before, but now it looks like this: (and I now can also resize the window by dragging the little comb on the left of it, which is also new!)

Those jpgs are from the PR 1.1 version, but I still see the same glitches in PR 1.2. I wonder if there is a bug in the source dictionaries I am using. What source (link?) are you using? Thanks.

I cannot promote the application to Extras-Testing myself. I have sent an email to the maintainer to do so.

Edit: Good news! Alexander has promoted the package.

I will ask you the same question. Where did you get your dictionaries? Could you give me the link of one of them that have the problem. I don't promise anything but I may take a look and try to fix it when I have some time.

The sources are:

http://reciteword.sourceforge.net/stardict/babylon.php
http://xdxf.revdanica.com/down/

The MWC dictionaries show the worst text glitches on my device, e.g., http://downloads.sourceforge.net/xdx...03_mwc.tar.bz2

It would be helpful to post a link to the MWC you are using that is glitch-free.

Thanks.

I have installed from

http://xdxf.revdanica.com/down2/inde...ormat=StarDict

My MWC version is stardict-mwc-2.4.2, must be from stardict-comn_dls03_mwc-2.4.2.tar.bz2.
