Don't know exactly, never reproduce that myself.
Just take a look at this post of a member of the forum : http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1663

Hello CSSU Team.

Are you guys able to make the email desktop widget use a custom .png file as background?
some themes come with custom images for that, but it doesn't get used.

it's a small step for U, but a huge one for design lovers.
would be great if you can see what you can do.

I imagine it would be easier to create a new widget similar to how nicolai has created a mediaplayer, calendar and other open source ones.

Is there a simple solution to the bug where cameraUI rotates when forced rotation is enabled? It turns around the UI also messing up the preview of what the camera sees.

Has anyone else had issues with their N900 not dropping to C4 power state since installing the CSSU?

I'm having battery issues. I've removed all widgets from the desktop, removed the MicroSD card and still powertop reports that I'm spending all my time in C1 state...

Any ideas?

Simple solution? Turn off force rotation, it's not for what you think it's for :-)

Remember to check the bug list:

http://j.mp/communityssu-bugs
  • #11875 - Battery drains quicker
  • #12053 - Modest drains battery

They're probably duplicates.

A quick look at conky reveals that Modest is indeed firing up every minute and using gobs of cpu. Xorg is also sat using 8-9% all the time and my cpu sits at 500mhz and 15% usage constantly...

Hmmm...
