I think there should be some focus on how to manage the power and battery issues too eh? cause more usage NOW that it's so much better with the CSSU means more draining of the battery

That's called pages. thp however did do a patch for horizontal scrolling for task-switcher but it was buggy, if I recall right. Don't bother asking where it is and how to implement the patch to the OS, I don't know and if I would, I wouldn't help.

it should be nice with sms/call/mail/update notify in status applet menu like android (they drag a menu from the top to bottom).
Click on the mail/sms/update/missed call for easier access that should be nice. Is that true?

there is an app in the repos for that called "callnotify" but it would be better if it has some "native" missed call and sms notifier just like in symbian. MohammedAG, you should remember your n97 your ugly status bar with all these little notifiers of new email, bluetooth, wifi, ne sms, missed call...

I compiled it myself. It is quite buggy but with a little bit of work, it could be great.

Is anybody else having problems with email send & receive not working? I don't get emails unless I manually send & receive in the folder listing screen. I think it's the same or similar to this old bug from PR1.2:

Maybe it is better idea to politely ask devlopers of ovi maps customisations to file an enhancement request on cssu bugzilla with appropriate patches. I don't think anyone involved in cssu development would have enough time and motivation to gather pieces of information spread across several hundred posts in the thread you linked.

Maybe it would be possible to have davmail as an option to mfe for sync of exchange to use in the cssu . It's open but it's based on java.
I got it running on my n900 both with icedtea6 and sun java, but I wasn't able to configure the mail to connect to a different imap-port than default.
I'm successfully using davmail on my pc with thunderbird and lightning extension to connect to exchange 2010 at work.

Hi there,
I've been following this thread for some time and and enjoying seeing the progress.

I have what I think is a small request (but maybe not so easy to implement). Would it be possible to get a portrait pop-up for dropdown menus in MicroB? As it stands, if you click a dropdown menu in portrait, it performs the transition to landscape for the menu, and then reverts back to portrait (assuming you made the selection remaining in portrait mode).
