Sounds like for one reason or another the CSSU Transitions Tuner fails to write your transitions.ini with new values. Hard to debug since it's working nicely on my two devices :-/

Could you post a screenshot of your CSSU Transitions Tuner settings and also attach contents of these two files:
/etc/hildon/theme/transitions.ini (if present)
/usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini

Thanks!

Edit: and alsto try to launch the CSSU Transitions Tuner from xterm by typing this (note, no sudo gainroot etc before this) and post here if there's some errors (the invalid date blaablaablaa is normal, so ignore that):
/opt/cssutransitionstuner

is it normal that when rotating to portait, the preview is distorted to the top left of the screen? similar to before the update
remove the old transitions tuner (v0.1.4), refresh the app manager and download the new version (v01.5)

it will work!!

1 day before Nokia announced X7, E6 and the new Symbian "ANNA" (source) the CSSU Team came with an extraordinary update (or at least it works for me).
Good Job, MAG&CSSU Team. Keep walking!

Do you get anything weird if you run it with /usr/bin/camera-ui?

Oh and changelogs are always here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU/Changelog here, http://gitorious.org/community-ssu/m...bian/changelog and in a post on tmo whenever the update's out, you can't enough changelogs I guess :P

hello, i have the same problem.
i only have transition.ini in usr/share/hildon-desktop/
i attached the ini file..(which i rename to transition.txt so i can upload it)

my cssu transition tuner setting are,
#fast transition
#single column task switcher
#app menu blur = 10 (which is the max i can enter. Higher value than 10 is not possible)
#app menu scroll speed=0(which keep resetting to zero..highest value possible was 0.99, but after I click on save, it will reset itself to 0)
#parallax=3(max number is 10, same case as app menu blur..minimum number is -10)
#blurless, force rotate, rotation on zaxis, and tactile was enabled and are working properly
#zoom on press=disabled

on xterm, i followed the /opt/cssutransitionstuner command and i get permission denied..

ive installed the lastest version of cssu transitions tuner and ive restarted my phone many times..still the problem persist..
thanks in advance.
